This is as far as I was when I reached 1000 miles back in August. I had decided early on in the year to not push the miles too much this year due to a knee injury from last October 2015 that was not healing well. I have since been to the doctor (many times) and we have found this to be a torn meniscus on my left knee. Surgery was on Thursday November 17th. The doctors said I will likely be back to work on Dec 19th. But I am sure rehab will last much longer than that. Hopefully I will be back riding next spring! 👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽👽

I finished Bliss Woods/Virgil Gilman Trail and then to Oswego a couple weeks ago. And did part of the I&M Canal Trail this last weekend. Will maybe post for each of these trips soon.

I will probably tackle Bliss Woods or Oswego next.

McHenry to border then Hebron and back.

Got in 35 miles round trip, from the town of McHenry North on the Fox River Trail/McHenry Prairie Path to the Illinois-Wisconsin border and then West on the Hebron trail to the town of Hebron and back. 29 miles of this trek were unpaved. Here are some pictures.

The railroad recently patched the walls and primed away all the grafitti. The bridge has been redone with some big girders. The large metal walls were removed.

My schedule for the year

I know I havent posted alot or even at all lately. And I know its killin this blog. I don't have any good answers for ya. Other than I am busy elsewhere. Anyways, here is the schedule I made up of things I want to do this year riding bikes. I had plenty of time in the first part of year being sick and injured and having lots of cold and rainy spring days indoors to work on this list. OK so here it is:
